On Wednesday, we were so kindly and graciously hosted by another of Jere's cousins, Chris and her husband Terry and their family. Chris' father is Jere's Uncle Gene, a man with many great stories and experiences. They live in southern Indiana in a lovely home with a pond and rope swing in the backyard. Our younger girls, who miss Sparkle Bunny very much, wasted no time in cuddling their two cocker spaniels and assortment of cats. It was fun to meet another branch of Jere's family and to spend time with Uncle Gene, who has been out to CA a few times. Young Jere found a playmate in their son of similar age, thus breaking the monotony of his girl-centered life. Their daughter helped teach some of the kids how to fish in the pond! It was a blessing to spend time with them and establish a stronger family connection.
