Creation Science Museum

Why northern Kentucky? We really wanted to visit the Creation Science Museum that opened there just a couple of years ago. This museum has been beautifully constructed towards a Biblical view of creation. Walk-through dioramas take you through the Garden of Eden, the Fall of man and God's plan for redemption from sin. One of the things we appreciated most about the museum was the unapologetic presence of Scripture throughout. We listened to a presentation on the book of Genesis and its relevance today. There are detailed displays of the geologic evidence, such as what was observed after the Mount St. Helens eruption event. The new, stratified canyons there have already become rock, and the new rock tests to be 30,000 - 1 million years old using radiometric dating. Later, we were asked by someone if the museum serves to try and convince a skeptic of a 6-day creation. Absolutely! They do, however, acknowledge this fundamental truth: the evidence is raw data. The conclusion one comes to about origins has everything to do with the starting point from which one considers that evidence.

This is a place we would recommend if your travels bring you to the northern KY or Cincinnati area.
